Rev. Leonard T. Tegwende Kinda

Rev. Kinda Tegwende Leonard is an ordained minister and the Executive Secretary of the Association des Églises Évangéliques Réformées du Burkina.

A former student of the École Biblique Évangélique d’Atakpamé (Togo), the WCC Bossey Ecumenical Institute, and the WCRC Global Institute of Theology (Grand Rapids & Chicago, 2010), Rev. Kinda has cultivated a deep expertise in theology, communication, and management through numerous short-term trainings, workshops, and conferences.

Beyond his church work, he has extensive experience in community development and humanitarian efforts. At the national level, he served as Chairman of the ACT Burkina Faso Forum and represented the World Council of Churches (WCC) in preparing prayer documents for the 2024 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

A committed ecumenist, Rev. Kinda has held key leadership roles, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa (FECCIWA), as a member of the WCC Central Committee, and as Vice Moderator of the ACT Alliance.

He is married and a father of three. He speaks Moore, French, and English.
